the short version: the app lives on your machine, your data stays there, and this website only ever asks for an email address.
your email address, if you give it to us — we use it to send the download link and occasional app and marketplace updates. emails are sent through Kit, our email provider. every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time. we don't sell or share the list with anyone.
your chats, settings, api keys and files live on your Mac, stored locally. there is no blu account and no sync — we never see your conversations, your keys, or your code.
that depends on the model you pick, and blu labels it every time. a local model runs on your own hardware — nothing leaves the machine. a cloud model receives what you send it, under that provider's terms, billed to your own key or subscription. we sit in neither path.
no ads, no data brokers, no selling behavior. this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics script, and does not follow you between pages. Cloudflare hosts it and keeps the ordinary server logs any host keeps. we don't count downloads at all — and when we start, this page will say so before the number appears anywhere.
